Vaccinated Keynote Speaker For Conferences

As we return to in-person events, there is talk about if people will need to be vaccinated to attend or speak at conferences in the United States.  As a fully vaccinated keynote speaker, I am ready to return to work and serve audiences as their opening keynote speaker or master of ceremonies.   While it seems weird to write this page announcing my vaccination, I have many clients who are questioning if they can hold meetings,  Will participants need to show proof of their shot? Will only vaccinated keynote speakers be considered for the agenda?

Vaccinated Keynote Speakers and Other Vendors

Public health is now everyone’s responsibility. All “Event Professionals” (and this includes keynote speakers) must be aware of the changing recommendations from the CDC and local governments to ensure the safety of all who attend and work at events.  Vaccinated keynote speakers, meeting planners, hotel staff, catering servers, transportation drivers, entertainers, and others will be necessary to ensure that all people can feel safe attending conferences. Plus all who work in and around the meetings industry must become educated on emergency preparedness.

The meeting industry has had a rough 12 months.  While some events did a great job of pivoting to online and virtual events, others have had a rough time keeping their people engaged in a digital world.  Many speakers and other vendors have struggled, and they are ready to get on stage and help their customers create a memorable and content rich experience. If anyone is seeking a vaccinated keynote speaker, I may or may not be the right fit for your company or association…. but let’s chat.  If I am not the right one I can help you find a presenter who will WOW your crowd.
